Sam Hallas' Website
Martin Taylor has shared a number of videos from the early period of ICOS and requested that I made them available.
Camcorders and video recorders from the period were mainly based on magnetic tape with formats such as VHS. If the recording had to be copied from one medium to another the quality always suffered. So don't expect broadcast standard video.
I've made some effort to correct the colour balance on some and sharpen the images on others. Some came with embedded chapters allowing you to skip numbers. Ive added my own chapters to some others. You need to download the files and play in a suitable player, such as VLC Player, to use the chapters.
This was a compilation of G&S songs put together by Ian Gledhill for the 25th Anniversary celebration in 1977. Click to read the programme notes. The video states it was made in association with STOIC, the Student Television of Imperial College, and is pretty professionally produced (you'd expect nothing less from IC), with multi camera shots and good picture quality.
